Created by Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef Jaime James, Ginger & Cacao specialises in beautiful custom buttercream cakes and gorgeous treats for all occasions. Our signature style and flavours are inspired by Jaime’s French pâtisserie training and her Malaysian Chinese-Japanese heritage.
All Ginger & Cacao creations are lovingly made-to-order. From the initial consultation to learn more about your celebration to the design process, I am dedicated to working closely with you to create something truly special for your occasion. As taste is just as important as the visual effect, I use only thoughtfully sourced premium ingredients and make all of the low-sugar jams, ganaches, fruit curds and caramels used in our delicious bakes.

Covid-19 message from Jaime
I'm so sorry but Ginger & Cacao is not currently accepting any orders for macarons-by-post or any celebration cakes as we (chief baker, resident taster and newly minted 3-year-old critic) feel it is truly important for us to discourage non-essential travel and help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
I wish to say a huge "Thank You" to all our customers for your understanding, especially to those whose orders I've sadly had to cancel following the lockdown. To all our beautiful engaged couples, I look forward to working with you again to create your wedding cake when it is safe and you are ready to do so.
I'll be on Instagram and Facebook from time-to-time sharing photos and maybe an odd recipe or two, and look forward to seeing everyone there. Meantime, take care and stay safe.
